I have two Y-DNA matches to descendants of John Leake AKA Johannes Leick, but I have not found a paper genealogy connection or common ancestor. My earliest Leek line ancestor was William Leek, born in New York City in 1797. I believe that his father was Henry Leek, born in 1764 in New York and died in 1833 in New York City. I think he was the Henry Leek who married Catherine Wilsey on June 22, 1793.
