Mary Thomas was born in Hampton, Massachusetts Colony (which would later become Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire).

The History of Hampton, New Hampshire [1] has this entry:

Benjamin Thomas, Captain, son of James and Martha (Goddard Thomas, of Dover, was born about 1677. He married Sept 12, 1700 Mary Leavitt, daughter of Hezron Leavitt. They lived in a garrison house on the south side of Winnicut road (in North Hampton), where he died Nov 13, 1766. They had six children.
