Biography

He served in the Revolutionary Army from Connecticut, his name appearing on the Lexington Alarm List from the town of Killingworth, although it there appears as "Leberon". It appears elsewhere as "LeBarva".

David was born in 1740. He passed away in 1818. When David Lebaron was born on April 27, 1740, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, his father, James, was 43 and his mother, Martha, was 37.

In 1745 Caleb Benson of Middleborough was appointed to be his guardian.[1]

In July 1757, above the age of 14 years, David made the choice of James Lebaron of Middleborough to be his guardian.[2]

He married Martha Chatfield on November 20, 1764, in Killingworth, Connecticut. They had 12 children in 24 years.

He died on February 1, 1818, in Benson, Vermont, having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried there
