Séraphine est née le 13 août 1803 à Cascapédia et baptisée le 16 novembre. (St-Joseph-de-Carleton). [1]

Elle a épousé Joseph Cyr, fils de François Cyr et de Marie Rose Boudrault, le 8 janvier 1822.[2]
