Biography

Delphine Leblanc was born on April 5, 1846 in Shédiac, Colony of New Brunswick. [1] She was the daughter of Pierre Leblanc and Madeleine Landry. She was baptized on April 6, 1846 in Grande-Digue. [2]

Delphine married Elzear Bilodeau) on 29 January 1866 in Grande-Digue. [3] The parents were not named in the marriage record. The witnesses were Denis LeBlanc and Célina Arsenault.

Their children were:

  1. Marie Célina Bilodeau (1867– )
  2. Sarah Bilodeau (1884– )

In the 1901 census Delfine (age 55) and Elzéar were living in Kent, New Brunswick.[4]

Delphine died on October 8, 1937 in Cocagne, Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, aged 91. [5]
