Biography

Alphonse was born and baptized March 13, 1819 at Saint-Antoine-de-la-Baie-du-Febvre in Lower Canada (now Québec). Alphonse Leclerc was the son of Pierre Claire Houde and Marie Anne Lemire.[1][2]
