Biography

Isaac Anderson was born in 1824, son of Arthur Ledbetter and Elizabeth Robbins.

Isaac married Cynthia Jones on 9 January 1845 at Livingston, Overton County, Tennessee.

Isaac was Justice of the Peace in Young County from 1877-1885.

Isaac Ledbetter died at his farm near Belknap, Young County, Texas. His property was on the site of old Fort Belknap.

He served in Company A., 21st Confederate Texas Infantry and was a Texas Ranger.

He passed away in 1897 at his farm near Belknap, Young County, Texas.
