Biography
John was born in 1896 in Arendal, Norway. He left Norway with his family in 1905 and arrived at Ellis Island aboard the Carpathia on September 14, 1905. [1]. His parents Johan Andreas Marcusen Ledien and Julie Johannesen eventually settled in Massachusetts.
