Damon was born about 1826. He is the son of Louis Ledoux and Silesie Marie Louise Pitre.

Damon married Elodie 17 Feb 1846 in St. Landry, Louisiana. Witnesses were Fcois Pitre, Hildaire Meedanel, Francois Pitre, and Edmund Johnson. [1] [2]

Damon died about two years later.
