Biography
Marie Louise Adelaide Ledoux, daughter of Francois Ledoux and Marguerite Rougeau, was baptized on 1 Feb. 1781 at age 2 1/2 months. Her baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
She married Jacques Fontenot, son of Louis Fontenot and Marie Marguerite Doucet, on 21 Jan. 1793, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Jacques died before 1798.[1]
She married Jean Baptiste Joubert, son of Pierre Joubert and Catherine Pitre, on 18 Feb. 1798, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
Marie died before March 1821 the date of her succession in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
