When Marguerite Ledoux was born on January 31, 1846, her father, Michel, was 20, and her mother, Eleonore Bombardier , was 23. She married Michel Heroux on April 15, 1861, in Belle Prairie, Minnesota. They had nine children in 26 years. She died on September 16, 1920, in Dodson, Montana, at the age of 74, and was buried in Belle Prairie, Minnesota.
