He married Irma Pitre, daughter of Charles Pitre and Catherine Vige, on 25 May 1841 the marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

Antoine died before Oct. 1852 when Irma married Elisha McDaniel, his succession was dated 13 Aug. 1861.^[1]
