Biography

Augustin Ledoux, son of Francois Ledoux and Marguerite Rougeau, was baptized on 25 December 1792; his baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

He married Josephine Fontenot, daughter of Louis Belaire Fontenot and Marie Joubert, on 12 May 1818 at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
