Zilpha Lee was born on 3 Jan 1773 in Johnston, North Carolina, daughter of Capt. Thomas Lee (1729 - 1816) and Mary (Ingram) Lee (1745 - 1821).

Zilpha married Thomas Lee Bailey , son of Thomas Lee Bailey and Mary Griffin Osborn. Together they had children:

All of the sources cited in this profile other than her unsourced Find a Grave memorial refer to her simply as Zilpha (or a variant of that given name). If anyone is aware of a source, please reply with a citation to it. Otherwise, that middle name will be removed from the profile.
