Biography

Warren was born 20 Sep 1876 in La Hogue, Iroquois county, Illinois.[1] He was the son of Charles Lee and Maria Wilson.

He was on the census in Danforth, Iroquois, Illinois with his parents and siblings in 1880.[2]

Warren married Hattie May Ong on 26 Feb 1898 in Iroquois county.[3] They had a large family.

Warren, Hattie, oldest son Chauncy and Warren's brother Alfred were living in Danforth in 1900.[4]

They lived in the community of Iroquois in 1910,[5] in Onarga in 1920,[6] in Ridgeland in 1930,[7] and in Onarga again in 1940.[8]

He passed away in 1949 and was buried in Onarga cemetery in Iroquois county, Illinois.[9] His tombstone lists him as "Warren M. Lee" but census sources list him as "Warren F. Lee"; he was listed as "Warren Faulkner Lee" on his WWI draft registration.

Charlotte (Read) Kensil
Lee-25647 and Lee-12726 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year and death year. Difference in birth town (LaHogue and Onarga are about five miles apart) but same county in Illinois. Warren lived in Onarga. Research needed to confirm death in Chicago vs in Iroquois county IL. A merge will add parents to Lee-25647 and spouse to Lee-25647. It will add a known son to Lee-12726.
