Biography

Mary, or Mollie, Lee was born 9 July 1764 in Prince William County, Virginia to Henry Lee II and Lucy (Grymes) Lee.[1][2]

She married Philip Richard Fendall and had two children:[1]

  • Philip Richard Fendall III
  • Lucy Eleanor Fendall, who married Dr Barnard James Miller and Capt. Darlon L. Wilds.

Mary died 10 November 1827 and is believed to be buried on the Fendall Farm.[1]

Slaves

When Mary's father Henry Lee died in 1787, a number of enslaved persons were named in his will,[3] as well as in his probate inventory of 19 Dec 1787.[4]

Four enslaved people were bequeathed to Mary. For more information please see the Slaves of Henry Lee 1787 page.

It's fine to un-manage a profile! Go to the privacy tab and remove yourself. A descendant (and I am not one) may come along and adopt it.
