James was born in 1882. He passed away in 1959.

Research Notes

According to another researcher, Jack’s father was James Lee, who arrived in Australia around 1857 from Canton. James died aged 58 in 1897 in The Rocks. He reportedly had 10 children: James, Willie, Minnie, George, Esther, Peter, Sydney, John, Frederick,and Barbara.

His mother was either Kate, Kate Florence, or Lizzie, and the said marriage was apparently in Wagga in around 1880.
