Curran Lee Sr. served in the United States Navy in World War II

Curran was born in 1914. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II aboard the Buckley-class destroyer escort U.S.S. Weeden (DE-797) and later retired from the Lockheed Corporation. He was a longtime member and deacon of Peeples Valley Baptist Church in Cartersville, GA. Curran passed away in 1977. [1]
