Ruth Davis of Kansas City, MO passed away at the age of 85, Friday evening, September 9, at Ashton Court in Liberty. She was born in Jamesville, MO. She married Glen Davis in 1938. They lived and raised a family in Springfield, MO, Seattle, Washington, and Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years. Ruth leaves four children; daughter, Judith of MO, son, Gary and wife Doris of MO, son, John and wife Cheryl of CA, and daughter, Nancy and husband, John of NV. She also leaves two grandchildren, Steve of IL and Heather of MT and three great-granddaughters, Megan, McKenna and Rylee. D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel will perform the private services for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested by the family to either the Cancer Research or Alzheimer's Assoc.
