Frederick was born on 21 August 1858 in Toodyay, Western Australia.[1]
He married Elizabeth Ferguson on 4 April 1878 at Upper Swan.[2]
Frederick was a farm worker at Toodyay in the Coondle-Nunyle area. He leased "Nunyle",
Coondle, and when it was subdivided bought part of the estate.[3]
The death occurred at the North am Hospital on Saturday, 29th August, of Mr. Frederick Augustus Lee, the remaining member of an early day pioneer family of the Toodyay district. Deceased was aged eighty four years and spent all his life in Toodyay. He was married early in life to Miss Elizabeth Ferguson (who predeceased him some years ago) and had farmed for many years at Coon dle, where three of his sons also ac quired farms. Of a likeable dispos ition and one who had always given his support to worthwhile matters in his district, his death was learned of with regret not only by his numer ous old friends but by members of the younger generation who had known him well. A family of four sons (Messrs Harry, Jack, Sam and Lionel Lee) and one daughter (Mrs. R. W. Waters) and many grand children are left to mourn their loss.[4]
