Biography
James Lee is a part of US Black heritage.
James F. Lee married Mary E. Twyman 14 June 1909 in Vigo County, Indiana.[1]
He was an assistant superintendent of labor at the I M C Depot in Clark County, Indiana in 1917.[2]
In 1940 James was married to Mary and the Lee family was living in Seymour, Jackson Township, Indiana. James was age 54, born in Indiana. Mary E. Lee was age 52, born in Indiana. Daughter Nobelyn M. Lee was age 21, b. in Indiana. Son Charles A. Lee was age 15, b. in Indiana. Son Thyrl R. Lee was age 12, b. in Indiana. The race was listed as Negro.[3]
I'm assuming this grave is for him. It is in the same cemetery where his daughter Donna Jean (Lee) Kelly is buried.[4]
