Louisa Lee was born December 30, 1846, in Barren County, Kentucky, a daughter of Henry and Mary (Thomas) Lee, On March 8, 1867, in Glasgow, Barren county, Kentucky, [1] Louisa married John B Benedict, born January 6, 1838, in Fountain Run, Allen, Kentucky, a son of John Benedict and Eva (Celser) Benedict. Children of Louisa and John are:
- Minnie Belle Benedict, born December 12, 1867, died October 12, 1904, in Allen county, KY, married Jesse Wyatt Buchanon [2]
- Mary B. Benedict, born May 4, 1869, died August 17, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, married Armstead J. Buchanon [3]
