Elsie was born in 1895,[1] the daughter of Joseph and Kate (nee Ring) Lees.
In a 1929 In Memoriam notice for her father, she is listed as "Elsie (Mrs. G. Adlington)" however a matching entry in the Victorian Historic Marriage Index between a Lees and an Adlington has not yet been found. Similarly there is no matching entry for a Lees-Toe marriage and/or an Adlington/Toe marriage.
She died in 1979,[2]
