Albert was born in 1974 at Twenty Acre Field Cottages, Tunbridge, Kent, England. He had seven siblings and was one of the middle children.

He married Laura Jane Woodward April, 1900 in Marylebone, London, England. They had several children, but not all of them have been researched yet.

After Laura died in 1910, Albert's children were sent to orphanages as he could not raise them alone.

Albert fought with the Royal Sussex Regiment in WWI as a Private, enlisting in November, 1914.

Albert died in December 5, 1955 in Acle, Norfolk, England.
