Biography

son of Antoine Lefebvre dit Laciseray/Laciseraie and Suzanne Ranger, he was of age when he first married on 26 Nov 1810 in St-Benoit with Charlotte Franche dite Laframboise, daughter of Jacques Franche dit Laframboise and Charlotte Rouleau. 9 known children. Charlotte died 22 Jun 1825 in St-Benoit, aged 41 per funeral record.

He marries Céleste Tailleur dite Jolicoeur, daughter of Jean Baptiste Tailleur dit Jolicoeur and Marguerite Demers, on 26 Feb 1827 in St-Benoit. 4 known children. Céleste dies 24 May 1833 in St-Benoit, aged 35 per funeral record.

He marries again, with Charlotte Denis Denault, widow of Frédéric Séguin, on 20 Oct 1835 in St-Benoit. His residence is listed as Mirabel. 1 known child, Mathilde, who marries on 16 Aug 1858 in St-Placide (Deux-Montagnes), in the presence of her father, who is said to be resident of that parish along with this wife.

The 1861 Census of Canada image below has Jean Baptiste at age 77. That suggests that he died after 1861

Not sure why the L...-511 wasn't presented as an option when I created L...2595 but I hope to merge 511 > 2595 so that I can take responsibility for the profile. 511 was imported as part of a GED and I have am a descendant with a research effort going on that involves the Lefebvre lineage. I'm willing to support whatever the community chooses to suggest if this isn't appropriate.
