Hi!

Nick - you changed the spelling from Payet to Payette in the Current Last Name field. I had changed it to Payet based on the marriage record (see my previous comment). But I'm having second thoughts about her taking her husband's last name at all, so I've posted a question to G2G about what her CLN should be.

Please see https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1129728/married-quebec-would-woman-take-husbands-name-include-name

Cheers, Liz

From https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois#Guidelines_on_Names -
MARRIED NAME: The usage that having women take their husband's last name is NOT true of the French settlers and their descendants at all until the conquest of 1760 and for some time after, and even then most records to this day list the woman under her maiden name, unless it was not known. And the practice has been restored legally in the 1980s in this province (too many divorces making for a lot of paperwork on name changes)

I think that since Rosalie was born in the 1800s, we're ok with having her husband's name/s as her Current Last Name, but I think that "dit" should be "dite"? (Even though it's her husband's name/s, it's being used by her.) Also, the marriage record has Payet (not Payette). So... I've changed her CLN to Payet dit St-Amour,
