Biography
Isaac was born about 1776 in Wythe County, Virginia. He passed away on 1 January 1810 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Isaac is a "stray" in the Leftwich family tree and we are trying to connect him. We don't know who his parents were, though we know his wife and two sons. He was a trader who traveled from Virginia to Tennessee to Louisiana and back. According to his son, Isaac Jefferson Leftwich, he was "murdered in New Orleans by Spaniards". Records seem to support this. Records will be added as sources as time allows.
