Jesse Leftwich was born in 1775. He was the son of Augustine Leftwich and Mary Turner. He married: Sarah "Sallie" BRISCOE b: 19 Mar 1787, m: 05 Jul 1804 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, she d: 22 Oct 1839.
