Mary Legate's family had left Boston for Leominster before her birth, and she was born there on 8 January 1762. [1]
On 17 Mar 1781 in Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, Mary Legate, daughter of Thomas Legate, Esq., born on Beacon Hill, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay, in 1734 married Major Metaphor Chase of Leominster. [2]
