Pearl was born November 25, 1891 on Scott's Bay Road, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.
In the 1901 and 1991 Canadian censuses she is living at home on Scots Bay Road.
As a teenager she moved in with her sister Effie and her husband Edward D. Whitten in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Pearl graduated from Fitchburg High School. Later she moved back to Nova Scotia to take care of her father in his old age.
Pearl married Roy Lyons, and they lived on Scott's Bay Road. They had one son, Roy Jr., who is still living on Scots Bay Road in July, 2016.
