Biography

Edward Henry Legge was born on 23 April 1834, the son of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth and Hon. Frances Barrington. [1]

He married Cordelia Twysden Molesworth, daughter of Walter Hele Molesworth and Frances Mary Twysden, on 15 January 1873.

He died on 16 August 1900 at age 66.

He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.

He was Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms, House of Commons.

Lt Col, Edward Henry Legge was born on 23 April 1842 in Staffordshire, the son of Frances and William. He married Cordelia Twysden Molesworth in January 1873 in Plympton, Devon. They had three children during their marriage. He died on 16 August 1900 in Dorking, Surrey, at the age of 58, and was buried in South Holmwood, Surrey.
