She married Alber R. Maxwell, and they had two daughters. The daughters were Ruth Vivian Maxwell and Esther Maxwell (Pearson) (born June 20, 1915). Ruth died very young, as an infant.
According to the 1901 Canadian census, Ella was spending 10 months a year at school, which seemed to be above average.
Ella's sister Effie came to live with Ella and Alber in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Esther Maxwell came to live with her aunt Effie and Edward D. Whitten after Ella died.
There are a few entries for Maxwell family members in the Whitten family bible that couldn't be interpreted, but there doesn't seem to be any relation. All entries for Maxwell would be related to Esther - Ella's daughter.
Died ... (??).. fairly young, but not before 1901.
Ella is buried along with Alber in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg.
Esther went on to become a nurse and have four children: Dorothy, William, James and Diane. Esther was living in a nursing home as of 2004.
