Biography

Elizabeth was born on 20 January 1776 in Baltimore, Maryland.

In 1792, when she was about sixteen, she married Andrew Arnett at an unknown location and bore him three or four known children:

1. Thomas Arnett
2. Sarah Arnett
3. James Arnett
4. James Arnett

On 13 April 1825, when she was 49, she married Richard Price.

Second husband, Richard Price, is found in the 1830 census for the Western Division of Monongalia County (West) Virginia with 1 male (perhaps Elizabeth's son, Thomas, age 14), 1 male 70 thru 79 (Richard), 1 female 15 thru 19 (perhaps Elizabeth's daughter Sallie, age 16) and 1 female 50 thru 59 (Elizabeth). ^[1]

After Richard's death (circa 1834) she appears in the 1840 ^[2]; 1850 ^[3]; 1860 ^[4]; and 1870 ^[5] census records living with her son, Thomas and his family.

On 2 February 1875, about two weeks after her 99th birthday, Elizabeth died of unknown causes in Arnettsville, Monongalia County, West Virginia.
