Cordelia is found, at the age of 14, on the Canadian Census of 1871, living with her father and older sister, Elizabeth. [1] On the 1881 Census, Cordelia is 23 years of age, still living with her parents. Her mother, Elizabeth, is now shown living in the household, but her sister, who is two years her senior has gone. She has five younger siblings. [2]
