Biography
Jennie was born in 1885. She was the daughter of William Lehman and Emma Deibler. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
On June 9, 1906 Jennie married Isaac Michael Schaffer. [7]
Jennie passed away in 1943. [1][2]
Research Notes
- The "Schaffer" surname for husband, wife, and daughter, has many spelling variations (Shaffer, Shaeffer, Schaffer, Schaeffer) at different times. I'm using the form Isaac used when completing his World War I draft registration card (Schaffer) as authoritative. The Find A Grave record is especially amusing since it uses a different form of the name from what is pictured on the headstone. There's really nothing to show it's the correct headstone.
