Biography
Margaret "Peggy" Lehman was born about 1805 in North Carolina.
She married Joseph Nat, M. Smith on 10 Dec. 1828 at Franklin, North Carolina.[1][2]
She and Joseph appeared on the census of 26 Aug. 1850 at Hayesville, Franklin, North Carolina.[3] She and Joseph appeared on the census of 20 Aug. 1860 at Franklin, North Carolina.[4] She appeared on the census of 1870 at Hayesville, Franklin, North Carolina. Two farm hands lived with her and several of her sons and their families lived near her.[5]
Margaret died after the 1870 census, probably in Franklin County.
