On 27 Mar 1889 Sidney married Margaret (Maggie) Baskins at Waverly, Bremer County, Iowa.
[6] The couple had 2 children, Iva M. and Harry D.[3]. They lived on a farm near Waverly until 1910 when they moved to Waterloo.[1]
Sidney was an Episcopalian and a member of Black Hawk Odd Fellows Lodge.[1]
