She was the daughter of Joseph Leigh and Julie Allen. She passed away in 1997.
Beulah Nance KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. Beulah Leigh Nance, 85, of 937 Grace St., died Saturday, March 22, 1997, at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain. She was the widow of June Clyde Nance and daughter of the late Joseph Bunion and Julie Allen Leigh. She was a retired spinner with Sadie Mills in Kings Mountain and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Clyde J. Nance and Wistcr L. Nance, both of Gaston ia; three daughters, Dessie Nance Grigg of Gastonia, Doris Nance Martin of Hickory and Hazel Nance Ford of Lowell: one brother, George Leigh of Florida; 25 grandchildren; 54 greatgrandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church with the Revs. Dale Thornburg and Darrell Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, is in charge.
