John Leigh was baptised on the 4th December 1580 at Oughtrington, Cheshire, England.
On 17 January, 1611/2, the Archdeaconry of Chester issued to John Leigh, Parish of Lymm, Cheshire, and Alice Massey, Parish of Runcorn, Cheshire, Spinster, a licence to marry without proclamation of banns at Warburton; their Bondsman was John Redditch.[1]
