1850 Decatur Co., IN Marion Twp Census: Joshua Burk 68 VA Cosander Branum 51 KY Josehua Branum 15 IN George W. Branum 13, IN Early Lamasters 9 IN
1860 Decatur Co, IN Census: Early Lamaster 23 - IN - poor house
In 1830 Jacob's mother Catherine gave consent for him to marry Nancy Burk because he was not yet 21.
Jacob is not a head of household in the 1840 Census.
Jacob was supposedly in Illinois in 1845 because his son Johnson G. Lemaster claimed to have been born there. (Maybe no as strange as it seems as Gibson So., Ind. (see below) is right next to Ill.
Jacob is in the 1850 Census of Gibson Co., Ind. with is second wife Rachel.
Jacob and Nancy's son Early Lemaster b 1841 Ind. is in the 1860 Census living with his grandfather Joshua Burk in Decatur Co., Ind. (Thus Nancy was still living in 1841; died in childbirth?)
Jacob Lemasters land grant F.C. N04084, S4T12N-10E $63.50 a. 1834 (next to Harden and Hansberry BURK), 12n11e 1835
