Biography
Louis was born about 1785. He is the son of François Lemay and Marie Louise Charlotte Miville. Il était navigateur de métier.
He and his wife lost four children in rapid succession in 1822: Louis (7) on January 9, François Télésphore (3) on January 17, Marie Félicité (5) on January 22, Jean Odilon (14 months) on February 4.
He died at 39 years old 2 days before Chistmas while his wife was expecting another child (Louis Pierre) who would be born in June 1825.
