Amanda Jane Lemon was born to John Lemon and Hannah née Amos Lemon. She married Samuel Mason Flinn in 1891.

She passed away 5 November 1951 in Wood, West Virginia and was laid to rest at the Pond Creek Cemetery, Belleville, Wood County, West Virginia, United States.
