Wilhelm died on 9 Sep 1818 in York County, Dover Township, Pennsylvania. They are buried in Strayer's Church cemetary. [1] His will mentioned his wife Anna Maria and the following children: Susanna (m. to Samuel Close), Catharine, Elizabeth (m. to Henry Miller), George, John, Peter and Henry. A son Wilhelm was born on Mar. 3, 1777 but evidently did not reach maturity. Wilhelm Lenhart was a farmer in Dover Twp., York County. [3]
