Lewis Lenoir is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.

Lewis Lamar Lenoir was born circa 1773 at Brunswick County, Virginia. He was the son of Robert Crawley Lenoir and Winifred Fisher. Lewis Lamar Lenoir died circa 1818 at Hancock County, Georgia.

Lewis is found on the 1812 Tax Rolls in Captain Potter's District, Hancock County, Georgia.[1]
