Elisabeth Lentz was the daughter of John and Anna Lentz, who were Palatine migrants in Hasenclever's New Petersburg group.[1][2]
Elisabeth married Michael Widrig/Wiederich and had children in German Flatts, Herkimer County, New York.[3][2]
In the 1790 census, Michael Wederick appears with 2 males under 16 and 4 females (see Research Notes).
Research Notes
Dates and places for birth and death (1760-1798) came from the original unsourced record (citing MyHeritage.com). She was probably born in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. Her brother Jacob was born in Philadelphia in 1754, and her parents didn't move to the Mohawk valley until about 1765. The date of death does not match other sources, e.g. church records of confirmations and baptisms, SAR applications.
Not sure where the first name Catherine comes from. According to Barker, Elisabeth and Catherine were sisters. Elisabeth married Michael Widrig and Catherine married Conrad Folts Jr.[1]
9294: MICHEL WITRIG (jr ?) - pr. born ca 1754 to 1763; apparently he had died by Oct 1802 (when widow Elisabeth's son Michel was confirmed at Herkimer Dut. Reform Church); m by 1780 ELISABETH LENTZ (DAR Patriot Index). Apparently the Michel who was a sponsor, with wife Elisabeth, for Dec 1787 bp of Michael, son of Christian Hockstater, and for May 1793 bp of Michael, son of Adam Hartman & Mary Catherine. Was living at New Germany settlement in 1789 (St. Johnsville Church bp rec.).

There is a birth record for Elisabeth Wiederich, 1810, parents: Michael Wiederich and Elisabeth Lentz. However, this seems too late to be a child of this couple. The timing fits if this was a child of Michael and Susanna, with grandparents Michael and Elisabeth as sponsors.
SAR applications and 1810 census support two additional male children (presumed to be James b. ~1785 and George b. 1800) not included in Barker.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elisabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elisabeth:
Lentz-1022 and Lentz-775 appear to represent the same person because: Although the first name "Catherine" and the death dates are different I am confident that these two profiles both represent Elisabeth Lentz, daughter of John Lentz (Palatine migrant with the Hasenclever group), who married Michael Widrig/Wiederich Jr. also of the Hasenclever group. Since the migration happened ~1765, her birthplace should be Germany (as it then was). According to the SAR applications, she died in 1824.
