Biography
Avard was born in 1880[1][2]. He was the son of Benjamin Seth Leonard and Susan Elizabeth Banks. About 1903, he married Ethel, based on the year in which she gave birth to still-born twins, Victor and Vera[3]. Avard died in 1971, and is buried[4] in the South Williamston-Whitman Cemetery, Annapolis, Nova Scotia.
