NOTE: Obediah's father was born in Pennsylvania, and his mother in North Carolina, per the 1880 census. Therefore, I am uncertain that Obediah Leonard and Hannah Cooley were his parents, as they were born in North Carolina and Virginia respectively. Further evidence needed.
