According to "An account of the families of Lennard and Barrett" by Thomas Barrett-Lennard, published 1908 on p34, John Lennard and Elizabeth Harmon did not have a daughter named Dorothy: "John Lennard had three sons, Samson, Benjamin, and Samuel, and five daughters, Mary, Timothea, Rachael, Elizabeth, and Anne."

I believe these parents should be removed.

It appears that Dorothy was not part of the Lennard family of Kent and Sussex, but was rather part of the Leonard family of Pontypool, Wales, prosperous Ironworkers, a number of whom emigrated to North America in the early 1600s.

These reliable sources make no mention of a Dorothy, a Margery, or any marriage into the Calvert family.

Therefore I suspect that the parents shown for Dorothy are incorrect.

Yes, this is correct that she was not the daughter of John based on SOURCE: The Peerage of England by Arthur Collin, page 370-1.

The new birth and marriage dates have her marrying at age 11. Is that right?

Also, several of the children are shown with birthdates before she was 10.

Dorothy can not be the daughter of Elizabeth Harmon since Elizabeth's given birth year is 1520, therefor making her 7 when Dorothy was born. I have found 1 researcher who placed Elizabeth's birth year in 1512 but there was no documentation given. Could John have been married previously or could she be the daughter of one of John's siblings? Or is it possible that she is one of John's cousins from a earlier generation since John is a rather common name in the Lennard family? Have researched and research this but can come to no resolution.
