I am a Scottish professional genealogist and DNA Detective. Genealogy is my job but it began as a personal passion and working on my own family history and DNA matches is still my favourite hobby!
My ancestry is all Scottish and Irish as far back as I can take it. I have a number of Irish brick walls I'm hoping DNA testing can help me break down.
Genetic genealogy has revolutionised genealogy for me: I love working on and with my DNA matches to confirm lines on my tree and break brick walls. If we are related and you haven't yet tested please do consider it and I'd be happy to help you with analysis of your results.
I love connecting with new cousins so if we have a paper trail or DNA connection I'd be delighted to hear from you and happy to help you with your tree!
