Abraham Lepard was born on August 27, 1854 in East Gwillimbury Twp, York County, Canada West, son of Peter Lepard (~1807–~1871) and Phoebe Draper (~1810– ).
Abraham married Caroline Harman, 22, of East Gwillimbury, daughter of Timothy & Amelia Harman. The witnesses were William & Jane Hoover, both of East Gwillimbury Township. The marriage took place 24 July 1877 at Queensville, East Gwillimbury Township, York County, Ontario, Canada.

In 1881 Abraham and Caroline were still living in East Gwillimbury with their 3 year old daughter, Ida, and Abraham's mother, Phoebe.
By 1901 the family had moved to Huntsville, in the Muskoka & Parry Sound District, and had a 13 year old son, Preston.
He passed away in 1911.
